The objective of ITES is to provide industry best practice, best value, non-personal services to enable a broad range of enterprise-level support services for information technology integration and service management activities to the Army, other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and all other Federal agencies,” including but not limited to locations inside and outside the U.S. and in warzone areas.
ITES solutions are categorized by Task Areas, which are further subdivided into sub-task areas to further define the scope of the task areas.
This list is not considered to be inclusive of all sub-tasks within each task area.
Task areas include (but are not necessarily limited to): Business Process Reengineering (BPR); Information Systems Security; Information Assurance; Information Technology Services; (CAD/CAE/CAM); Development; Software/Middleware Development; Enterprise Design, Integration, and Consolidation; Education/Training; Program/Project Management; Systems Operation and Maintenance; and Network Support. The ITES contract is the Army’s preferred source for the purchase of a full range of services and solutions within CONUS and OCONUS Network Support.
